In Sweden, they have a common law called, “allemansrätten,” or “every man’s land.” This means that anyone can walk anywhere in nature as long as they are being respectful and do not disturb the property. This also means that you can also pick wild blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, lingenberries, and mushrooms wherever you go. Today I visited my host family’s cousins summer home in the archipelago south east of Stockholm. Pictured: Marilyn holding a bunch of blueberries!

My blueberries!
Mushrooms for sale in the center of Stockholm, (probably picked at a farm rather than some random person’s backyard.)
