Copenhagen: where the cemetery is a park and a museum

These students are studying conservation and have partnered with Assistens Cemetery in Copenhagen to practice some of their skills.

In Copenhagen, the cemeteries act largely as parks for people to bike, run, and push their babies through while they are on mat/paternity leave. For this reason, there are some parts that have specific “no sun bathing signs.” Even if that grass looks like it is inviting you for a nap, you should still be respectful to those permanently resting.
