Berlin is magical in the summer– I’ve been told. In the winter it is nice too with christmas glühwein and warm museums. But I would highly recommend a tourist type visit in the summer. Prinzessinnengarten (pictured below) is apparently extremely nice in the summer. There are concerts and markets and community grown vegetables. Here you can see some ingenuity in reusing palettes as planters/ walls. But it got dark at 3 pm today and no plants are growing right now. I am ready for some Egyptian sun.

Maybe it is a good time to stay inside and watch a film about Weissensee?
