When I was in high school I created this comic about Egypt after reading Perseoplis, which narrated the revolutions in Iran. I created my text based off of what I read on wikipedia and CNN (I was 17 years old), and so of course the comic I created was from a very distant perspective. I honestly knew very little about the real political situation in Egypt. At the end of the comic I wrote the question, “What happens next?” I would have never guessed that tomorrow I fly to Cairo myself and to find out.
