Jyokozan Seigan Temple has 500 Rakan statues in front of the cemetery where the Nabeshima domain from Ogi rests. This is the third temple that I have visited in Japan with many small Jizo statues spread out in the garden, and I am obsessed. Below are some porcelain ceramics made in the town of Arita. European kings and queens sent their ships a long way in order to obtain works made in Arita as decoration their castles. Later one Japanese man spent many years collecting some of these pieces and returning them back to their home town.
